I have not updated this area for a while AGAIN! I have a change in the focus of research, and now it is "Construction of an Evaluation Model for Open Source Project Hosting Service". Too many people is looking at how to employ Open Source in Business in general and I just have to choose another path. My associate supervisor thought that her expertise was not in this area and so she left. I am in the process of find a new one. 又 一 次 很 久 也 沒 有 更 新 近 況 了 。 研 究 的 方 向 改 變 了 ， 變 成 了 「 建 立 開 放 性 原 始 碼 項 目 寄 存 服 務 的 評 估 體 系 」。 實 在 太 多 人 想 找 出 如 何 把 開 放 性 原 始 碼 應 用 在 商 業 方 面 了 ， 我 只 好 另 找 出 路 。 我 的 二 老 細 覺 得 新 的 方 向 離 她 的 本 行 太 遠 了 ， 我 得 另 尋 新 的 二 老 細 。 |

I have not updated this area for a while, just gone through my Ph.D. Candidature Review. Luckily, nothing unexpected happened. I had a change in supervisor as well as a change in the direction in research. After all these, I just got enough time to finish the proposal in order to satisfy the requirement of the review. Now I have to find some data on business software developers who employ the Open Source appoach. My draft proposal was handed in on last Sat. (24/6) (and so I have some time to maintain the page again) and I did a ten minute presentation and it was well reveived. The title of the proposal was "The Open Source Software Development Process and The Software Industry" and I am going to do case studies in Linux and companies using Open Source approach.

Finally, I find a bit of time to work on this site. Life is becoming normal, progress in research is slow... However, becoming slower is one of the benefit of coming to Australia. Oh! I will fly to Melbourne, Australia on 16/3 21:30 and arrive on 17/3 9:40
to start my PhD Study in E-Commerce in RMIT. 在 16/3 晚 上 九 時 半 我 將 會 乘 飛 機 至 澳 洲 的 墨 爾 砵， 17/3 早 上 九 時 四 十 分 到 達。 到 墨 爾 砵 後，我 將 在 RMIT 大 學 攻 讀 電 子 貿 易 的 博 士 學 位。 |
